Kamview ski trails

Please check the CRC Communications Snow phone (807) 285-0801 for up to date conditions.   PLEASE-MASKS MUST BE WORN WITHIN 100 METRES OF CHALET and whenever physical distancing is not possible on the trails. No loitering in parking lot. Spread out and stay safe! Absolutely No Foot Traffic Permitted on Ski or Snowshoe Trails!

Trails have been groomed this morning but there is still debris due to recent high winds – please use caution! Northern Lights, Sun Up and Sun Down, Roadway Ramble, Beaver and Lower Aspen (to Beaver shortcut) and, a small loop of Meadows 🙂 are groomed for Skate and Classic. – Tamarack is Classic only. Jackrabbit and Dudley’s (very thin and “ruff” and trail has been re-routed to the original slightly shorter trail). Shoveling is on-going on all open trails  –  keep up the snow dance! Trails and walk up window will be open 9am – 9pm Monday to Friday. 9am – 8pm Saturday and 9am – 6pm Sunday. Lights are on until 9pm daily. No chalet access, no rentals, no wax rooms during Lockdown. Our Take Out Window will be open for day pass purchase, take out concession (homemade cookies, beverages, chili and soup) and TBNT membership card pick up. Lower parking lot is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9am – 5pm for members only Please display your membership card on dash in this parking lot only).

Kakabeka PP -If you have a Parks Only or a TBNT membership, please remember to leave your membership card on the dashboard of your vehicle.  Day passes are available to purchase outside ski hut in parking lot off Luckens Rd.  Ski hut will not be open this season.  No dogs, snowshoeing or walking permitted on ski trails. Generally, Robert grooms the trails on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and after a snowfall.

Sleeping Giant PP – If you have a Parks Only or a TBNT membership, please remember to leave your membership card on the dashboard of your vehicle. If yo do not have a membership a Provincial Park day user pass must be purchased and displayed.

Currently groomed – Rita Lake to Thunder Bay Lookout out and back  – 18.4km return. (Rita Lake parking lot is groomed for parking – approx. 15km before Marie Louise Campground). 18km of Marie Louise Lake Drive is groomed for skate only (12km is skate and classic) – rock skis recommended. Burma trailed skate only – soft.
