7th Annual Run for Reijo

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 7 years since we lost our good friend Reijo Puiras.

Please join us on Tuesday, August 27th as we run/jog/walk the trails at Kamview Nordic Centre and remember Reijo! Invite your family and friends!

“The more racers we have,” Reijo once said, “the more Wayne Gretzkys we’re likely to find.”

A minimum donation of $10.00 per participant is suggested with all donations going to the Reijo Puiras Legacy Fund (cash or cheques made payable to “Reijo Puiras Legacy Fund”). The Lappe Ski Centre established the Reijo Puiras Legacy Fund to continue the advancement of cross-country skiing in the region.

There will be two well marked courses from which to choose…a short course (2.5 km) and a long course (6km), starting at 6:30 pm from the Kamview chalet.

There will be a Kids Fun Run at the end with treats for all kids!

Big Thunder Nordic Ski Club will be hosting a bake sale! $2 for 1 item, $5 for 3 items! Yum!
