COVID-19 Safety Plan – Snapshot.

Measures we are taking.

How we are ensuring workers know how to keep themselves safe from exposure to COVID-19

  • Constant review of Ministry of Health / TBDHU guidelines
  • Hand Sanitizer at all entrances
  • Mandatory wearing of masks reinforced
  • Proper hand washing
  • Good cough / sneeze etiquette
  • Maintaining physical distancing where possible
  • Screen between employees and members at Concession
  • Wiping down common touch surfaces eg. Debit / Credit machine, phone, keyboards, mouse between each user
  • Minimizing the number of employees working different shifts
  • Providing Boardroom for staggered lunch breaks

How we are screening for COVID-19

  • Signage at all entrances to chalet, shelters and garage
  • Hand sanitizer at all entrances and throughout chalet
  • Mandatory Covid-19 Screening Tool to be filled out daily by all employees and volunteers
  • Reinforcing that employees stay home if they are sick at all
  • Asking visitors not to enter if feeling unwell, to wear masks etc.
  • Asking visitors not to enter any of the buildings (including rentals) if they have travelled outside of NWO in past 14 days

How we are controlling the risk of transmission in our workplace

Physical distancing and separation

  • Mandatory masks
  • Screen at front counter / Concession
  • Take Out food only
  • Sliding window for concession sales to reduce numbers inside chalet
  • Limited seating and only one table (recording name and number of anyone sitting or eating in chalet
  • Limited chalet capacity

Cleaning

  • All surfaces sanitized at least twice daily – more as needed
  • All rentals sanitized after each use

Other

  • Extra shelters to accommodate more people
  • 3 New outhouses erected on property to reduce chalet traffic
  • Changerooms closed
  • Directional traffic through chalet and shelters
  • Minimize handling of cash with on-line purchase options, encouraging contactless payment when possible

What we will do if there is a potential case, or suspected exposure to, COVID-19 at our workplace

  • Contact TBDHU and follow their guidance. We will notify all staff via e-mail. We will notify members via e-blast and social media – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and post notices on door.

How we are managing any new risks caused by the changes made to the way we operate our business

  • Regular check-ins with staff, encouraging feedback and suggestions
  • Open lines of regular communication with Board of Directors

How we are making sure our plan is working

  • Asking employees for constant feedback
  • Meeting once a week to discuss measures being taken
  • Staying Covid-19 free
